Terms and Conditions
The below agreement is subject to product and stock availability.
Events by Eventful reserves the right to use any images of their work for promotional and/or marketing material at any time. All Rights Reserved. All Images and Text are not to be reproduced or copied without written approval from Events by Eventful.
Payments: A 30% deposit is required when your order is placed.
Final numbers must be decided upon and the balance paid 10 days prior to your event occasion date, unless previously arranged. Orders are to be paid in Direct Deposit, EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard. All credit cards incur 2% surcharge.
DIY HIRE: is for a 2-3 day hire period only. Return of goods must be before returned to Events by Eventful on or before the due date. Late charges will be incurred per item, price is dependent on each Item and it is charged per item per day. A fully refundable bond will be taken to cover any breakages or repairs will be charged on pick up day.
STYLING & DELIVERY ORDERS: A cash bond must be paid 14 days prior to the event along with final payment. It will be returned to you via cash in the week following the event assuming no breakages or damages have occurred during the event.
In the event that damage or loss should occur (for both DRY HIRE and STYLING & DELIVERY ORDERS) to any of the hired items, Events by Eventful reserves the right to charge the Hirer for replacement or repair of goods if damage should exceed the bond paid. To avoid this problem, please just announce to your guests at the reception that the items are hired and not to be taken home. Additional cleaning charges will apply if items are heavily soiled or have excessive wax damage.
Delivery and Pick Up: If your event exceeds 15 minutes after your event finish time an additional fee of $300 for every half hour overtime will be charged
Cancellations and postponed Orders: If the occasion date is moved (at least 2 months before your original date) and held within 6 months of original event date we will do our best to move and credit your booking but no guarantees can be made due to other bookings for the same date. If booking is postponed within 3 months of the event date no refunds or credits will be issued. All cancellations must be in writing outlining reasons for cancellation. The following conditions apply to cancellations in regard to refunds, deposits and charges:
• Cancellation once 30% deposit is made is non refundable
• Cancellation 90 days or less prior to the function date (50% Deposit Will Be Retained)
• Cancellation 30 days or less prior to the function date (ALL Deposit Will Be Retained & Full Invoice Balance Incurred)
It should be noted in conjunction with the above that the cost of any specially ordered or manufactured goods for the specific use of the hirer’s function will be charged in full to the hirer.
Design: A design concept will be agreed to at quotation stage, all efforts to understand the client’s requests and Events by Eventful interpretation of that will be made. The interpretation and installation of that design concept will remain as Events by Eventful’s property. In certain circumstances Events by Eventful reserves the right to substitute hire items with similar items without seeking the permission of the hirer. We will take the utmost care to match colours but there may be slight variations.
Indemnity Insurance: The hirer hereby indemnifies and holds indemnified the owner from and against all claims, actions, suits, demands and expenses in any way arising from injury, death, loss of income or damage caused to the hirer or its property, or any other third parties or property, in respect of equipment hired. Hire items are not insured. The hirer is responsible for any loss, damage or breakage until the items are returned or collected. In the case of inclement weather Events by Eventful will work together with the hirer to come up with the best alternate plan possible, but unfortunately no refunds will be provided. Events by Eventful is not liable for failure to perform the party’s obligations if such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane, pandemic or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, terrorist activities, blockage, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service.
Events by Eventful will not be held responsible for any injury or damage caused by any items hired within the hire period. All hired items that are taken from the venue or showroom by the client will have to be returned to our showroom by the next business day or extra charges will be incurred.
Payments: A 30% deposit is required when your order is placed. An additional 20% needs to be paid once design has been approved and the full amount is due 7 days prior. Orders are to be paid in Direct Deposit, EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard. All credit cards incur 2% surcharge.
Alterations and Authorisations: A proof of your order will be forwarded via email for you to view. This design will then need to be proofed and any alterations made before authorisation. Two alterations to the wording and layout can be made before an alteration surcharge is applied. Please ensure that the wording and guest list submitted are final. Errors: Events by Eventful is not responsible for any errors within the document regarding wording, layout, spelling, grammar and guest list names, once authorisation is approved to print has been given by the client. Errors that are within the document, submitted by the client or have been approved by the client will be reprinted at a cost to the client. It is the client’s responsibility to check all wording and layout to ensure it is correct before authorization and print. Any errors made on behalf of Events by Eventful will be reprinted free of charge. Onscreen colours may appear slightly different from printed versions. Product images and descriptions are intended to be used as a guide only, no responsibility is assumed for variation in product specifications. Events by Eventful recommends that a sample be viewed prior to authorisation. Prices: Events by Eventful reserves the right to alter prices without notification. Returns, Refunds and Canceled orders : Please choose carefully as we don’t exchange or refund. No refunds will be given after the commencement of the order. The order will be considered final. Faulty products are to be returned to Events by Eventful together with a summary of why the products are returned and evidence of faulty finished product WITHIN 7 DAYS OF ORDER PICK UP OR DELIVERY. Events by Eventful will, if product found to be faulty refund cost of product. Credits will not be given on any breakables. Please check all breakables before leaving Events by Eventful. No responsibility will be taken for items damaged after the order has been picked up. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN ON CANALISED ORDERED. FULL PAYMENT IS DUE FOR ALL CANCELED ORDERS. Delivery: All orders are required to be picked up from Events by Eventful. In certain circumstances, Events by Eventful will deliver all products via Australia Post standard post. Please allow ample time for delivery. Urgent or special deliveries can be accommodated at an extra cost. Events by Eventful takes no responsibility at any time of goods that are delivered via Australia post.
